Employees Celebrate Fall with the
8th
Annual THA Employee Pumpkin Decorating
Contest

Competition
was frightening this year as Tombigbee
Healthcare Authority employees gave their
imaginations free rein and came up with some
delightfully creative entries in the 8th
Annual THA Employee Pumpkin Decorating
Contest on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. The
Physical Therapy Department's entry of
"Aunt Hattie" was named Best of
Show, earning her creators a $25 gift
certificate, as well as a departmental pizza
party.
Aunt Hattie took the blue ribbon in the
"Decorated with Attachments"
category followed by Case Management's
"Show Me Your Charts" pumpkin in
second and the Dietary Department's
"DIE-titian" in third place.
Winning first place honors in the
"Carved" category was
"Choices" by the
Accounting/Payroll Department. Second place
honors went to the "Halloween
Kitty" by Diagnostic Imaging, followed
by the MRI Department's "Werewolf"
in third place.
The Laboratory Services' "Halloween
M&Ms" won the "Painted"
category.
The pumpkins will be on display in the
hospital's main hall through Friday, October
28, 2011.
